Villa Graziadio, The Malibu Hotel You Didn't Know About

Malibu is not well known for having a booming hotel business.  In fact, for such a desired destination of vacation and travel, the options for hotels are pretty limited. Perhaps the few that come to mind are the Malibu Beach Inn, Malibu Country Inn, or the Malibu Motel.  For whatever reason these may not the right options for you.   There is however a hidden gem you've probably never heard of, the Villa Graziadio Executive Center located on the Pepperdine University premises.  I've lived in Malibu for 23 years and hadn't heard of it until very recently.  If you have, kudos!

The Villa (we'll just call it the Villa from now on) is available to all, not just those visiting Pepperdine.  It offers 32 well-appointed guest rooms along with luxury accommodations and spectacular views.  Each guest room is furnished with the following:

• Queen Size Beds with 100% Egyptian cotton sheets and 100% goose down comforters
• Large work surfaces equipped with a desk lamp, data plugs, and an ergonomic chair
• Wireless high-speed Internet capability and an Ethernet cable
• 37" LCD Flat Screen LG televisions
• Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board
• In-room Coffee and Tea Service featuring Starbucks Coffee® and Tazo Teas®

Depending on your room and number of occupants, prices vary.  Single occupancy for a standard room is $229 + tax.  Double occupancy for the same room is $254 + tax.  Single occupancy for an ocean view room is $259 + tax and double occupancy for the same room is $284 + tax.

Along with your room, guests receive access to campus recreational facilities including the fitness center, outdoor pool, tennis courts, and track.  It also offers access to the campus shuttle and libraries.

The Villa allows a maximum of two people per room. This makes it difficult to travel with the whole family or a large group.  If you do decide on The Villa with a larger group, plan on booking quite a few rooms.
