Happy Halloween, Malibu!

Every Halloween, the our family transforms our home into a vibrant festival of creativity and laughter, driven by a cherished tradition that spanned nearly two decades. From super heroes to whimsical fairies, our family brainstorms themes that allow everyone to showcase their alternate personalities. Laughter fills the air as we share stories of past costumes like the year I dressed as a pirate and participated in my daughter’s elementary school Halloween parade. This annual event is more than just preparing for trick-or-treating; it continues to be a time to bond, to remember us of our annual tradition, and make memories that last a lifetime. From toddler to teen, we still celebrate Halloween with great joy.

As the sun sets on Halloween night, we put on our costumes, each member embodying a character that reflected their shared love for adventure. With Jack-o'-lanterns glowing on the porch and a cacophony of laughter spilling into the street, we venture out to meet our neighbors. Children and adults alike admired their creativity, with the family exchanging jokes and candy. After a night of collecting treats and sharing tales with friends, we returned home, their hearts full and bags overflowing with yummy treats. Sitting around the dining table, sorting candy we reflect on the highlights of the evening, already dreaming up ideas for next year's costumes, ensuring their beloved tradition would continue for years to come.
