Malibu Wines adds New Attraction Wine Hikes

Over the past couple of years, the Malibu Wines Tasting Room has become one of the most popular attractions in Malibu. Not only does it play host to a beautiful setting while providing a wide selection of wines, it also used to host the incredibly unique, but sadly closed Malibu Wine Safari.  Malibu Wines had definitely caught onto something with their Wine Safaris; combining wine with fun outdoor activities is sure to draw a crowd. They have since added activities including Yoga & Mimosas and Outdoor Movie Night.

Recently, Malibu Wines has added another attraction to hit on this niche market and they are calling it Malibu Wine Hikes. Malibu Wine Hikes is probably exactly what you think it is. With a group of 5 to 12 people, you are taken on a guided hike throughout the property to explore vineyards, see exotic animals, and discover the natural chaparral ecosystems of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Just like Malibu Wine Safaris, Malibu Wine Hikes offers many different hiking packages to fit the needs of the customers. Their packages include the following:

Malibu Vineyard Hike: On the Malibu Vineyard Hike you will stroll through the vineyards of Saddlerock Ranch for 2 hours. Complimentary wine tasting will be included. Hike is easy to moderate.  This hike starts at $150 for 5 people.

Family Weekday Hike: The Family hike is the best way to go if you are interested in taking the kids to see the exotic animals at Saddlerock Ranch while also exploring the beautiful vineyards and natural landscape. Strollers are not allowed due to the fact we will be walking on dirt trails that will not accommodate them. This Hike does not include wine tasting or a trip to our local tasting room, Malibu Wines. This hike starts at $100 for five people and groups can be as large as 12 people.

Open Group Hike: Can't get a group of 5 together for our private hikes? Well, we are now going to have open group hikes starting at 10:30AM on Saturdays and Sundays. On this hike you will stroll through the vineyards of Saddlerock Ranch for 2 hours. Complimentary wine tasting will be included. Hike is easy to moderate. Book for 1 person or as many as you like but be aware that this is an open group. The only thing more fun than hiking and drinking wine is hiking and drinking wine with new friends! Starting at $30 a person.

Full Moon Hike: Hikes are on evenings we have a full moon and hike departure time is dependent on the moonrise and moonset. Space is limited. Weather permitting. (If there is cloud cover that evening this hike will be canceled) Call or email for details. Price is $60/person, includes wine tasting under the stars.
