Kathy Escobar Harvey’s family has run Casa Escobar since 1946 and ever since then, Kathy has introduced the authentic Sonoran recipes that run in her family to the menu. Those Sonoran recipes are blended with influences from Chef Enrique from Mexico City as well as dishes from the coastal region of Veracruz and Oaxaca.
The restaurant embodies Sonoran traditions and colorful Latin designs all while maintaining a beautiful Malibu appeal. The flavors of Mexico are apparent in not only the food, but also the atmosphere and service at Casa Escobar Malibu. And not to mention, the margaritas are the best in town!
